Middleweight champ Duddy lines up first professional Irish fight
John Duddy will stage a professional fight for the first time in Ireland this summer, according to his promoter Eddie McLoughlin.
The New York-based IBA middleweight champion from Derry has won all 19 of his pro fights so far, most recently seeing off Anthony Bonsante at Madison Square Garden.
Duddy is set to fight at the National Stadium on July 7.
Meanwhile, Bernard Dunne is set to announce tomorrow his next European super-bantamweight title defence will come on June 23, probably against Norwegian Reidar Walstad.
