Trent Johnson has said he is disappointed with the ending of Ireland's Cricket World Cup campaign yesterday.

Ireland were easily beaten by Sri Lanka in their final game of the competition after being dismissed for just 77.

The Irish captain says he hopes the campaign will be remembered for the earlier victories over Pakistan and Bangladesh.

Speaking after yesterday's match, he said: "It's obviously disappointing, but we've got to look back and think what we've done for Irish cricket."
