Hamilton confident over race win

British driver Lewis Hamilton is confident he will win a Grand Prix in his debut season as he prepares for the second race of the 2007 Formula One calendar in Malaysia this weekend.

The 22-year-old McLaren driver impressed with a drive that belied his tender years in the opening race at Albert Park in Melbourne, during which he held off double world champion Fernando Alonso for the majority of the 58 laps after fearlessly passing the Spaniard down the outside of the first corner.
