Ireland hoping to be at full strength for England clash

Despite a number of injury worries during the week, the Ireland camp are hopeful of having a full squad to select from, ahead of their opening World Cup fixture with England tomorrow.

Skipper Trent Johnston and opening bowler Boyd Rankin both took a full part in practice yesterday, and showed no reaction to their shoulder and side injuries. Dave Langford-Smith underwent extensive physio work, having suffered a back spasm on Tuesday. He was able to bowl at a reduced pace with no ill effects, and will take a full part in training this afternoon at the new Providence Stadium.
