After Raymond van Barneveld's thrilling PDC Final win over Phil Taylor, the Lakeside version of the World Darts Championship gets underway today.

World champion Jelle Klaasen takes on fellow Dutchman Co Stompe tonight in the first round, while top seed Martin Adams takes on Tony O'Shea.

17-year-old World Masters champion Michael van Gerwen is in action against Gary Robson.
