The Formula One calendar will be trimmed to 17 races after Italy and Germany each lost a race on the 2007 schedule.

The Formula One calendar will be trimmed to 17 races after Italy and Germany each lost a race on the 2007 schedule.

In a short statement, the FIA revealed the 2007 season will begin in Australia on March 18 and feature 17 grands prix.
