Irish men's hockey team finish eighth

The Irish men's hockey team has finished in 8th place at the BDO World Cup Qualifier,in Changzhou, China, having lost 2-1 this morning to Belgium in the 7th/8th play off.

Despite narrowly missing out on a qualification berth for this year's World Cup the Irish team will earn valuable world ranking points from their performances in China.
