Judges concern Hussein

Nedal Hussein fears the judges could hurt him more than anything Scott Harrison or the crowd can throw at him.

The tough-talking Australian challenges the champion for the WBO featherweight title at Glasgow’s Braehead Arena on November 5 but the hostile crowd and their local hero do not frighten him in the same way that the men ringside do.

Hussein claims the Cambuslang Cruncher is only in possession of the crown because he fights in Scotland and that he would have to win three quarters of the fight to beat Harrison.

Victor Polo would back his concerns over the officials after their second battle last year was controversially scored a draw, while Harrison has proved he can win away after stopping Michael Brodie in four rounds in Manchester.

Hussein said: “Scott Harrison is only champion because he fights in Scotland.

“I fear if the contest went to 12 rounds I would need to win at least nine of them to get the decision.”
