Five Irish athletes in action in Helsinki today

Five Irish athletes are in action at the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki today.

Paul Hession's 200 metres quarter-final is scheduled for 11.45am Irish time, while Derval O'Rourke is due to take part in the semi-finals of the women's 100 metres hurdles at 5.15pm.

Elsewhere, Peter Coughlan is in action in the men's 110 metres hurdles, while Maria McCambridge competes in the women's 5000 metres semi-finals and Eileen O'Keefe in the hammer event.
