Nine dart finish for Taylor

Phil Taylor produced his third televised nine-dart finish at Bolton’s Reebok Stadium tonight as he clinched a place in the final of the Budweiser UK Open with an 11-6 win over defending champion Roland Scholten.

Taylor first achieved the magical feat at the Stan James World Matchplay in 2002 – which was worth £100,000 (€149,552) – and followed up with another 12 months ago on this very stage.
