US Open goes for hardcourt blue

The US Open will use blue tennis courts instead of green courts this year.

United States Tennis Association spokesman Chris Widmaier said the new colour will also be used for 10 hardcourt events leading up to the US Open.

The first event with the blue courts will be the RCA Championships at Indianapolis from July 18-24.
