Ebdon suffers Ding whitewash

Teenage prodigy Ding Jun Hui claimed another top scalp by stunning former world champion Peter Ebdon 5-0 to reach the third round of the China Open in Beijing today.

The 17-year-old Chinese wildcard fired in breaks of 62, 72, 78 and 62 in completing the whitewash to the delight of his growing band of supporters.
