Sri Lanka pull out of cricket tour

Sri Lanka’s ongoing cricket tour of New Zealand has been postponed to allow the visiting players to return home following the tsunami that swept through south-east Asia.

Sri Lanka was one of the worst-hit countries in the disaster which has so far claimed at least 60,000 lives.
