Vitali Klitschko has revealed he came close to cancelling next week’s world heavyweight title fight with Danny Williams in Las Vegas.

The WBC champion had to be persuaded to remain in his Los Angeles training camp despite becoming concerned at the political crisis in his native Ukraine.
