O’Sullivan nets top 20 finish in Rally Catalunya

Cork-born driver, Donie O’Sullivan and his Kerry co-driver, Paul Nagle (Ford Focus WRC) finished the best of the Irish trio in Rally Catalunya, the penultimate round of the World Rally Championship that was won by Ford ace, Markko Martin.

O’Sullivan could have been higher up the order had he had to complete the event without the centre differential. To compensate for this, the mechanics stiffened the rear suspension and this allowed the car to slide about, making it less of a handful to drive.
