Paris Olympic bid favoured in survey

Paris is best placed to win the bidding to host the 2012 Olympics according to a survey of leading sports executives.

The poll conducted by consulting and research company ArkSports Limited found that 30% believed the French capital’s bid looked strongest, with London a close second with 26% and New York third with 16%.

The findings are part of a report titled Bidding & Hosting: The Guide to Successful Sports Events.
