Catherina McKiernan wins Adidas Frank Duffy 10-mile road race

Catherina McKiernan showed a return to her best form, winning the women's section in the Adidas Frank Duffy 10-mile race in the Phoenix Park earlier today, in a time of 57:24.

Conor Holt, of Dundrum, South Dublin, was the first past the line in a time of 51:07.

McKiernan also won the first of the Adidas race series, the Adidas Irish Runner Challenge, back in July.

The four race series culminates in the Dublin City Marathon in October, but McKiernan has not said if she will run in all four races.
