Kenyans off the mark

Kenya overcame a nervous final hour to record their first win of the 2003 World Cup when they beat Canada in Cape Town tonight.

Chasing 198 for victory, Kenya were cruising at 116 for two in the 31st over, but they lost regular wickets and needed a 38-run partnership for the sixth wicket between Thomas Odoyo (27) and Peter Ondongo (16) to put them back on course.
