Ireland have lost their second consecutive game at the women's World Cup in Perth.

The Irish went down to the USA, who won with goals in either half.

Kate Barber opened the scoring for the US after 15 minutes, but Arlene Boyles pulled one back nine minutes later.

However, the USA took the lead on 42 minutes through a field goal from Barber.
