The Anaheim Angels are the 2002 World Series champions after a 4-1 victory over the San Francisco Giants in game seven, the series decider.

The Angels pitching team produced a magnificent display to frustrate the Giants, who went 1-0 up at the top of the second when Benito Santiago scored.
