Small secures maiden victory

World number 29 Chris Small picked up his first ranking tournament title with a fine victory over Alan McManus in the all-Scottish LG Cup final in Preston.

Small, from Edinburgh, held his nerve to take a tight 12th frame and go into the mid-session interval 7-5 ahead.
