O’Sullivan looking ahead
Former world champion Ronnie O’Sullivan has often hinted at early retirement and now it appears he is planning for his future.
Outspoken O’Sullivan ensured his stay at the Regal Masters in Glasgow would not be a brief one with an opening victory over Paul Hunter last night.
But after his astonishing attack on former boss Ian Doyle, who he accused of trying to take over the sport, the ‘Rocket’ revealed plans for a new venture.
O’Sullivan is the owner of an exclusive lingerie shop for women and gay men in Soho.
“It’s called Viva La Diva and is due to open at the end of the year,” said the 26-year-old world number one after qualifying for the last four.
“I’m really excited about it though I only bought the building. My girlfriend will be running the shop.”
