Following the success of the Commonwealth Games in Manchester, other cities are looking to bid for future sporting events.

Both Manchester and London have expressed interest in bidding for the 2012 Olympics, while the Welsh First Minister wants his country to make a bid for the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

However, IOC chief, Dick Rogge doesn't want the Olympics to follow the World Cup line, so there will be no sharing between cities allowed.

"Manchester, London, my answer is a candid no. One of the successes of the Olympic Games is the unity of place," he said.
