Turkish coach puts demand on players

Senol Gunes is demanding his ‘‘great artists’’ paint a glorious picture of Turkish football tomorrow following their success in rewriting the country’s history books.

Turkey coach Gunes and his players are through to the second round of the World Cup for the first time, and in their first appearance in the finals since their previously one and only showing in 1954.
