McCarthy warns Germany against complacency

Mick McCarthy has warned Germany they will ‘‘get their backsides kicked’’ if they underestimate the Republic of Ireland.

The two teams meet in the second Group E fixture in Ibaraki tomorrow night and although Republic boss McCarthy doesn’t expect the Germans to come unprepared, he knows what will be in store for them if they do.
