Keohane shunted out in Knockhill
Having made a promising start from ninth on the grid, Michael Keohane retired just four laps into the
seventh round of the Avon Tyres British Formula 3 Championship race at Knockhill, Scotland.
The Clonakilty driver was trying to overtake Fabio Carbone, however, the Italian squeezed Keohane out and the Carlin Motorsport driver was then hit from behind by Ernani Judice.
The race was won by Keohane’s Carlin Motorsport team mate, James Courtney. It was his first win of the season and with pre-event championship leader, Robbie Kerr also failing to make it to the finish, Courtney has regained the championship lead.

Adam Carroll. Gavin smith was sixth.
The eight round races take place later this afternoon.
