F1: Schumacher fastest in practice

Ferrari’s Michael Schumacher has recorded the fastest time in opening practice for this weekend’s Spanish Grand Prix.

Schumacher finished 0.061seconds ahead of this team-mate Rubens Barrichello in Barcelona this

morning.

Sauber’s Felipe Massa was almost 0.7 seconds adrift in third place, with Kimi Raikonnen fourth in the McLaren.

David Coulthard was seventh in the other McLaren, while Ralf Schumacher and Juan Pablo Montoya were 12th and 15th respectively in the two Williams-BMWs.
