Motorsport: Evans continues to lead

Despite losing time on today’s second stage of the Irishmobiles.com West Cork Rally, Melvyn Evans in an Escort WRC continues to hold the advantage in slippery conditions.

Currently, after S.S. 11, Evans is 32 seconds ahead of the Subaru WRC of Steve Fleck, with Pete Doughty (Subaru) occupying third place - a further 26 seconds adrift.
