Formula One: Schumacher breaks lap record in new Ferrari

World champion Michael Schumacher has broken the track record at Ferrari’s private Fiorano circuit for the second time in less than a week in the Italian team’s new car for the 2002 season.

Schumacher clocked a lap-time of 58.378 seconds, three-tenths of a second faster than the previous record, which he set on Sunday.
