Ireland’s Joe Swail will be hoping to set up a quarter-final meeting with Jimmy White when he meets Ronnie O’Sullivan in the Benson and Hedges Masters later today.

Peter Ebdon booked his place in the quarter-finals after he beat Graeme Dott 6-4 in Wembley last night.

Ebdon, the world number seven, recovered from 4-1 down to set up a last-eight meeting with defending champion Paul Hunter.

Stephen Hendry also reached the last eight yesterday with a 6-0 win over newcomer Ryan Day.
