Darts: Manley ends first round jinx

Peter Manley ended his dismal run of results in major tournaments with a 4-1 win over Steve Brown at the Skol World Championship in Purfleet today.

The 39-year-old, who is seeded fourth, arrived at the Circus Tavern with an unenviable record of three successive first-round defeats in televised events.
