Horseracing: Florida Pearl well beaten at Down Royal

Foxchapel King caused a major upset by beating favourite Florida Pearl in the James Nicholson Wine Merchant Champion Chase at Down Royal today.

It was neck and neck as the race entered its final stages but Foxchapel King held on to its advantage over the bookies' favourite, who faded and ended up in third place after Wicked Crack pipped him at the post for second spot.
