Ayr Scottish Eagles cut Belfast Giants' lead at the top of the Sekonda Superleague to three points by thrashing Bracknell Bees 9-1 at the Centrum Arena.

Mike McBain had given Bees an early lead, but Ayr's nine-star reply stung the Berkshire club.

The Eagles had nine different goalscorers - with Johan Silfwerplatz, Anders Hillstrom, Cam Bristow, Dody Wood, Mike Harding, Shawn Byram, Alan Schuler, Rhett Gordon and Ian Herbers stretching their unbeaten home run to four games.
