Horse Racing: £37m funding for horseracing industry

A new bill has been passed which provides for an additional £37m to the horseracing industry this year.

It allows for a provision of over £9m to greyhound racing.

The horse and greyhound racing bill will lead to the establishment of a state body for horseracing.

The bill has been published by both houses of the Oireachtas.
