World snooker champion Ronnie O'Sullivan smelled of alcohol and had "glazed and bloodshot" eyes after he was arrested for failing to take a breathalyser test when stopped in his Porsche by police, a court has been told.

25-year-old O'Sullivan then refused to give a blood sample, saying he was frightened of needles and failed to provide a urine specimen in the allotted time, Stratford Magistrates Court was told.
