Championship leader Michael Schumacher swept to the top of the standings in penultimate practice for the Austrian Grand Prix in Zeltweg today.

The Ferrari ace, who was back in fifth place yesterday, finished almost 0.3 seconds ahead of the Williams of Colombia’s Juan Pablo Montoya on the A1-Ring.
