The 10-1shot David’s Lad emerged victorious in the Irish Grand National at Fairyhouse today, winning the race by just a length and a half.

The 10-1shot David’s Lad emerged victorious in the Irish Grand National at Fairyhouse today, winning the race by just a length and a half.

The winner held off the challenge from Rathbawn Prince, Sheltering and Kings Valley. In a field of 19 runners, the 9-2 pre-race favourite, Foxchapel King, finished in sixth.
