Horse racing: Grand National Day

It's Grand National day today at Fairyhouse racecourse with a field of 21 horses due to set off at 4pm, despite the lack of any challengers from England because of the foot-and-mouth crisis.

Last year’s winner, Comanche Court will be looking to defend his title on the three mile, five furlong test of endurance but the favourites for this year’s race are Foxchapel King and Feathered Leader.
