Chelsea sweating on Bogarde injury news

Chelsea are waiting for the results of a scan on defender Winston Bogarde's injured knee.

The Dutchman suffered the injury in the Blues reserves' 2-0 defeat by Derby County at Stamford Bridge on Monday.

The former Barcelona and AC Milan star was stretchered off early in the game as the FA Premier Reserve League South leaders were denied the chance to go nine points clear by two Dean Sturridge goals.

Bogarde joined Chelsea in August but has not featured in the first team since the 2-2 draw with Ipswich on Boxing Day.
