De Bilde back at Wednesday
Sheffield Wednesday striker Gilles de Bilde has returned to Hillsborough after a three-month loan spell at Aston Villa.
Villa boss John Gregory is still planning talks with Wednesday about the player, but has yet to make a final decision on whether to sign the Belgian on a permanent basis.
De Bilde's fourth and final loan appearance for Villa came in the New Year's Day defeat at Chelsea.
He failed to score during his time at Villa Park and Gregory said: "He certainly would have helped his case had he stuck away one of his chances at Chelsea.
"Gilles is a Wednesday player again and we have a decision to make. I have not yet finally decided what I will recommend to the board."
Gregory has already strengthened the Villa attack by making a club record £9.5m swoop for Colombian international Juan Pablo Angel from River Plate.
Angel is due in England later this week for a medical after Villa were granted a work permit for the 25-year-old. He is due to make his debut against Liverpool at Villa Park on January 13.
