Redknapp - Title is staying in Manchester
West Ham manager Harry Redknapp was left awestruck by Manchester United's display in a 3-1 New Year's Day defeat for the Irons at Old Trafford.
And the Upton Park boss was in no doubt the title is heading back to Stretford for a third consecutive season.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, an own goal from Stuart Pearce and Dwight Yorke's second-half strike saw United take control of the game, while Frederic Kanoute grabbed a late consolation.
He said: "They were absolutely terrific. They are a superb team and it is just frightening for everybody else.
"We got off to the worst possible start. But some of the football they are playing is tremendous - their passing and movement was an abject lesson."
Redknapp also insisted that the absence of Italian striker Paolo di Canio was due to a cold - not to an impending transfer to Lazio.
"There's no chance of him moving at all," said Redknapp, who confirmed talks were still ongoing about a deal for Rangers' Italian centre-back Lorenzo Amoruso.
Redknapp will hold talks with midfielder Steve Lomas this week about his future at Upton Park.
Manchester City have bid £3.5million for the Hammers skipper and Everton are also interested.
