Family's journey to Páirc Uí Chaoimh via car, bike, boat and foot wins trip to New York

To celebrate the opening of Páirc Uí Chaoimh last month, we at the Irish Examiner asked GAA fans to share their fun pic or video from the matches that weekend using #PUCmypic.

Family's journey to Páirc Uí Chaoimh via car, bike, boat and foot wins trip to New York

We received hundreds of entries by email, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram all hoping to get the big prize of a three-night break for two to New York.

Our favourite pick was a video sent in by John Murphy from Rostellan in Cork. His sons Andrew (9) and David (7) show us their journey to the new Páirc Uí Chaoimh by car, bike, boat and foot, AND they made us smile along the way with their charming updates along the way.

Dad John tells us both lads love making videos starring themselves: "They are always asking for me to upload videos of them. That is something I’m slow enough to do, but when I told them about your competition, they were mad to enter it, and they really enjoyed making the video.

"Not to mention they loved the new Páirc Uí Chaoimh."

Andrew and David both love hurling and play underage hurling and football with Aghada GAA

Congratulations John!
