James O’Donovan beats Killian Kingston to reach Barry Cup final

Kingston shaded the first two throws and O’Donovan edged in front with his third. Kingston got a very short fourth, having played his bowl too far right. O’Donovan replied with an extraordinary bowl to the priest’s house. Kingston missed that with his fifth to concede a bowl of odds. Kingston lobbed his next and it fell left. O’Donovan beat that by 30m.
O’Donovan followed with three good bowls to just short of Barry’s boreen, where he had almost two bowls. He drove his next to the left and it missed the guesthouse. Kingston’s veered right and missed that tip to leave two full bowls between them. Kingston rallied with a good bowl from there, but O’Donovan beat it by 40m to extend his lead.
