Killester go joint top after easy win

Killester joined C&S UCC Demons and Templeogue at the top of the Men’s Premier league following their impressive 71-56 win over Moycullen in a low scoring game at NUI Galway.

The Clontarf side paved the way for victory with a solid first half performance that saw veteran American Jermaine Turner continue his recent good form with 22 points.

Moycullen - who pushed Templeogue to the wire last week - are playing without an American after the departure of Matt Burke and coach Nollaig Cunningham praised his player’s efforts.
