This ain’t McGregor-Mendes or McGregor-Aldo. At least outside the ring.

Every interaction and comment passed between and by Andy Lee and Billy Joe Saunders at yesterday’s press conference for the WBO world middleweight title in Thomond Park smacked of mutual and personal respect.

As the challenger and visitor put it, “A lot of fights need building up and talking about, trash talking. This fight here doesn’t need any of that. I have a lot of respect for Andy.”
