Hawk set to stay above Wimbledon skies

The owner of a hawk tasked with keeping away pesky pigeons at Wimbledon has laughed off suggestions he could be replaced by a drone.

Rufus the Harris hawk is a regular visitor to the All England Lawn Tennis Club where he has been scaring off birds for the last seven years.

But bookmaker Paddy Power is offering odds of 50/1 that Rufus will be replaced by a drone at this year’s championships.
