Rosy in the Garden as O’Sullivan stops Nunez

Boxing: Gary "Spike" O’Sullivan marked his Madison Square Garden debut with a routine victory in New York on Saturday night.

The Super Middleweight made short work of his second US bout in the space of three weeks and the referee stepped in to halt the fight during the third round.

O’Sullivan’s Columbian opponent Milton Nunez seemed reluctant at that point to keep his guard up while enduring repeated combinations from the Corkman and the referee was left with no option.
