New York firemen in historic visit

Boxing: Boxing history will be made in Cork on Thursday night when the New York Fire Department enter the ring in Ireland for the first time.

Fighters from Rylane Boxing Club, the Cork Fire Service and An Gardaí Siochana will provide the opposition at the Kingsley Hotel in Cork in a show which will be supporting the Irish Heart Foundation.

Rylane and Cork Gardaí have developed a strong relationship with the New York Police Department with a series of fights on both sides of the Atlantic.
