Motormouth McGregor has title in sights

Conor McGregor never shuts up, but he sure knows how to silence his critics.

The Irishman needed only one minute and 36 seconds to finish American up-and-comer Dustin Poirier with a vicious flurry of shots, living up to his word with a first-round knockout at UFC 178 in Las Vegas.

It was the fourth-straight win of McGregor’s UFC career, and the 26-year-old featherweight didn’t waste much time switching the focus of his trash-talk from Poirier to the top of the division.
