Focused McGregor keeping eyes on the prize

Conor McGregor insists he won’t let the increased media attention distract him in his quest to conquer the UFC’s featherweight division.

McGregor is back training in the Straight Blast gym on the Long Mile Road in Dublin and back in the spotlight on this side of the Atlantic after returning from Las Vegas and a face-off with Dustin Poirier, the menacing figure who will be his next opponent at UFC 178 on September 27.

Little over a year ago McGregor was still a relatively obscure name on the fringes of the Irish sporting landscape.
